I learned that blankets were very valuable to them because it took more then one year to make them!

I learned that Salish Weaving is a tradition from a long time ago. You should not make fun of it like saying funny things about it because it is a tradition and it is something important to them. So you can't say bad stuff about it.

I learned that to make a blanket you need to have mountin goat fur and then weav the fur. They could dye the fur with berries for colour

i learned that dye and goat fur is very delecate and hard to make

that it can take years and years to find and weave these blankets and twisting the wool to make it stronger so it's a hard proces

I learned how to make a small blanket with wool. It`s hard and difficult for some people to do salish weaving. For the men, they have to go up the mountain and find goat fur, and for the women they have to clean it.
